The Marshall MB4410 is the daddy of bass combo amps. The 450 Watt bass combo houses 4x10" speakers, and an HF horn. It's big enough to sound monstrous, yet transportable enough to fit in the car. The Marshall bass combo booms with low frequency bottom-end. The MB4410 amp features 2 channels-Modern and Classic-with a separate EQ for each. Modern features include bass, treble, parametric mid and switchable compressor with variable level control. The Classic channel with its ECC83 pre-amp valve includes a Boost switch and has a 3-band passive tone network. You can mix the Marshall MB4410 amp's 2 channels either from the front panel or from the supplied 2-way footswitch. The overall volume of the blend is adjustable in addition to the balance between the 2 channels.

If you are paying by the pound, this is amp is a steal.

It is heavy and awkward shaped. The product description claims you can put in a car. That's not gonna happen. No casters makes it very difficult to move around, 2 people to carry or the use of a dolly is required. You may be able to fit it in the trunk of your 1978 Eldorado.

I use it for live shows in different size settings. The larger places connect to the back rather than mic the front. In the smaller places, it carries great all on it's own.

Other than being so heavy for a somewhat compact setup...I like it alot. Well worth the cost.

This amp is amazing!! Tight smooth loew end, Clean clear highs, and smooth midrange.. Both preamp sections sound great by themselves, and blended together you won't find anything better in it's price range! I've owned Ampeg, Fender, Eden, Nemesis and none of them have the clarity or output that this amp has.. I can't even find the word to describe how great this amp is! The only small downside to the amp is the weight.. very heavy... but worth it for the tone!!
