Not a huge body so it is very playable though maybe not as loud, as say the Dean, unplugged. Simple good looks and not overly ornate. Build seems very solid.

MK is definately carving out a niche for itself somewhere between "cheapies" and the expensive stuff. If this is your price range try one out and you will probably become a fan.

I get too much buzz when I use my fingers to 'walk' the bass. I wish I could adjust the bridge higher. I tried the Ibanez ($349) and all I heard was strings, when I tried the Club, I heard WOOD! Very nice sound. Watch for sales. I got a great deal on a clearance price, demo model. I just love playing in my music room acoustically.

Got my Club this week and I am happy with it, the workmanship is good and so is the most important part the NECK is straight! And the second best thing is the Sound, I'd played Srting Bass in school from 7th to 12th and it's as close to the Big Boy as you can get. Some people might say that it's a low end Bass cause it doesn't cost a arm and a leg, but the proof is in the way it playes and sounds. Try one and make Your own choice? Good Hunting
