I got the last lacewood top Q5 a year ago. Now it is nice to never see another bass I'd rather have. I could gush endlessly about it. One thing - it has copper lining inside the back plate. I've modified all my other guitars with this (I use the copper tape for keeping snails out of plants). It really improves the sound. It sounds like witchcraft but it works. Don't know why.
