You need the famous Morley PBA-2 Dual Bass Wah for that funkin', slappin', groovin' kind of sound. But sometimes a more straight-ahead vintage effect is called for. Just step on the button and you're playing a Traditional Wah. The PBA-2 is 2 super high-end pedals for the price of one. Features a wah level control. T.M. Stevens, Bill Dickens, Rudy Sarzo, and Dave Pomeroy tread on it all the time. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for you. The Dual Bass Wah Pedal is also good for 7-string and detuned guitars.

Do you need it? No. But you WANT it. Yes! Buy it right now!

This thing is absolutely indestructable. You'd have to make a concerted attempt to break it, and have help. Nice and heavy, won't budge an inch on anything resembling a grippy surface. Good footpad texture grips like a gecko. Normal wah sound is a perfectly acceptable, clean, slightly boring wah sound. An adjustable center frequency for the overall wah would be nice. The funk wah will make you happy the second you use it. In fact, I use it almost exclusively as the clean only sounds more boring when you've got this great other sound a button press away. I love this pedal with all my heart, and I can't use it because I can't stand the switch design. Either give me the choice to use a button, or a heel switch, or, the preferred route would be to design the switch to trigger when you have your foot on the pedal, instead of when the pedal starts to move. It's just the most awkward quarter of a second and it messes with the sound every. single. time. There is no rolling on the wah smoothly, period. There is always an obvious change between non-wah and wah, even with the volumes of both the instrument and pedal calibrated together. Some people, due to their various styles, are bound to be less sensitive to this issue, rock and metal especially, but if you play with a light touch, I can't recommend it.

This pedal has the best sound of all other wah's. Both the traditional wah and funky wah setting have an easy to dial in sound. If you want some growl or fuzz add a Big Muff PI before.

I've been waiting to get a wah pedal for my bass guitar. It took about two years and I've tried out many wah pedals like the original Crybaby for guitar and some on multi FX pedals--but since they were built for guitars they didn't pick up well on a bass. This thing is meant for bass and it's a little demon!

It has two settings--the default is regular wah which I like most because it sounds awesome and it goes well with distortion. If you hit the switch and the light comes on you'll get the funk wah which goes good with a clean tone. I'm a big Cliff Burton fan, and this is the exact pedal he used. It worked for him, and it's working miracles for me--buy it now!

This is a really solid bass pedal. It doesn't come with a power supply though. It distorts on my active pickups but it sounds weak on active anyways. Really solidly designed it seems like it can take a beating. The funk wah beats the standard wah all day. Definitely worth buying.

This thing sounds amazing, if you use a jazz or p-bass with passive pick-ups. But they need to adjust the sensitivity on the input because if you use ANY kind of active circuit, it distorts on lower frequencies, thus popping and farty sounds.
