The 4-string double humbucker Music Man StingRay is an electric bass with powerful tone that is flat-out cool. Introduced in 1976, the StingRay was the first bass to feature active electronics and advancements such as a 6-bolt neck joint, superior neck truss-rod system, and rock-solid bridge all of which keep it on top of the pack. This StingRay electric bass has an ash body with redwood top, maple neck, Schaller BM tuners, 3-band active EQ, and dual Music Man humbucking pickups.

I've played Music Man Stingrays in music stores. There is simply nothing that will match their "low end growl"...and I own this one, However, I have never even hooked it up to an amp. I got it only because it's the baddest of the bad, and with extremely limited production (100 worldwide, 50 U.S.), the value is sure to skyrocket. When I received this piece of art, I had intentions of plugging the thing up, but it's so immaculate that it just stays on display...Oh, and I paid full list price, so this offer is way too good to pass up.
