I've had mine since about 2001. This is 1 of the 2 SRV's I have now and about the 6th or 7th one I've had total, I've lost count and 1 of my 6 basses now. This unit has the ability to go from a woody sound to the regular sharp and biting tones we normally expect. The 1st piezo I saw a fretless and I went on a hunt but didn't see another piezo model till I came across my natural wood model with frets. For some reason it seems to be fuller than my Red Sparkle model although I've started using the lighter guage Ernie Ball strings now. The quality, consistency, case, feel, neck width, tone, have made me a multiple owner and although I had the Basslines Pickup/Electronis replacement kit, I after reading, questioning the factory, and learning to set them up better have not seen the need to replace anything other than the Pickguard on the Piezo model. I'd like to adjust a cleaner tone and I'm set.
