It takes a long time for me to buy things off the web. I received the bass a few sort days after ordering and it was well packed. I was able to play it as soon as I pulled it out of the box. I tested the bass plugged in and it has a deep sound. The tuner is easy to use and the battery is in a good location. I think the bass is well built and it should be around for a long time. It is an Acoustic Bass and ones style may need to change to fit it.

Don;t be put off by the company name, their stuff is of high quality and Lots of bang for the buck. Arrived pretty close to in tune, carefully packed and clean as a whistle. Some slight fret buzz and of course the pre-amp is average, but overall a VERY good buy and I highly recommend it. Don't expect it to be the same as an electric bass, it is best recognized and used for what it is, an acoustic bass that can be amplified.

This is a nice inctrument for the price. It's on the quiet side, so just use a small amp and you'll be fine. Since it's not that expensive, you can have one lying around to hand someone when they drop over for a visit and a jam session.

This is a great acoustic bass! Its affordable, but not cheaply made! The only problems I have ran into is the stock strings are horrid, and the tuner has a hard time picking up the strings to tune it, especially the E string. But besides that I love this bass! Just go grab some new strings and you;ll be rocking in no time!

This is my first acoustic bass. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound, both plugged and not, although I immediately replaced the strings (per so many other reviews).

I purchased the "Trans Black" finish. Its beautiful but has a definite purple tone to it that doesn't show up on the website pictures.
