I've owned this bass for about a year and a half now and i love it! The pickups give a nice low end and have really good treble and the body's so lightweight that my Ibanez guitar is heavier than it. The strings it came with are ok, but change them and you get a whole better sound. The tuners stay in tune for days. The only problem I've had is that the input jack was a little loose and the neck was a little warped when i got it but after a few adjustments and playing around with the pickup height, I got a bass better than my jazz band teachers jazz bass. I definately recommend it to anyone wanting a totally versitile 5string, or a bass just to mess around on.

ilove this bass. great for the money it was basicly in tune after i got it. the only problem i had was theneck was pretty warpped but can easly be fixed with a alan wrench and time.

So I own this bass, and most of the time the only people who write reviews are the ones who have had bad experiences. I have not. I have greatly enjoyed owning this bass. If you are looking at this bass, it is no doubt because you don't have money to spend on a "high end bass", or like me, you like the "life" and "fight" cheap basses offer. This bass is phenominal for the price. The colors are great. I own the Red version, and photos don't show you the "bass boat" sparkle of the colors. The sound is very very good. I liken it more to my Fender Jazz bass rather than a P bass if that is helpful. So if you are looking at it- buy it. You won't be dissapointed.... Unless you're a whiner.

So I order this bass and i have no idea what to expect because of such a low price and being a five string.I get it in the mail,finish is beautiful(all black)I was kinda disapointed because the part in the back of the bass that protects the electronics looked pretty beat up.Plug this in,now from my personal perspective and my expierences with bass's i feel that the strings are kinda loose,not loose in the sense that the tuning is bad but that it feels a little fishy.Besides that i feel that the bass is pretty good.the sound it pretty nice but i'd prefer to change the pickups which is what i did.Pretty good buy,just that string thing kinda makes it feel weird.
