You Get MORE than you pay for!

I have been playing over 40 years and have had a number of basses over the years. I decided I wanted to try out a 6 string but didn't want to spend much money. I bought the Rouge because a friend had the 8 string and it was pretty nice for the money. I was and am very happy with the bass as it has filled the bill and allowed me to see what it likes to play 6. I did replace the string and have a setup done by a tech soon after buying the bass as the strings are quite cheap. I understand after many purchases that you do get what you pay for, however after growing up with some really hard to play guitars, this gives you more than expected!

this was the cheapest 6 string i could find, i was so happy to buy this bass so i could start working on more technical stuff in my music....... sadly right out of the box the action was extreamly too low(but i worked with it) i put all of the strings as high as they would go, just to find out the neck was set wrong and the strings still sit too low

please do not buy this bass, buy one that is a little more expencive.... youll thank me

I bought this bass for two reasons. One, I wanted to get back into playing the bass. Two, I wanted to expand my playing and check out a six string. I wanted something cheap but well-made, reliable, and with a good sound. This bass is perfect for that and for beginner six-stringers and jazz/funk/metal/progressive players. It has the flaws that most Rogue guitars have, but for the price it cannot be beat! I am extremely satisfied and would highly reccomend this instrument. Also, I chose the black and only having the natural on display here does not do justice to the beauty of the black version.

this bass is ok. it was a donation to the church by one of our memebers this past week so i put it to use. i was thrilled with playing a six but i had to see how it sounded. im not big on six strings but it was a easy transfer from my 5 ( which is a Lakland). it has a good bottom but it lacks in power. i had to lower the strings but other than that a good base for the price.

Solid guitar. A care free work horse. It just plays as expected. Had to set it up for me, but then I haven't touched it in 2 years. I did put Flatwound .135 strings on it because it was so bright. Now this is all I play (besides the upright). I would buy another instantly, if this one was lost.
