I just recently bought this bass second hand from a friends father, and I immediately fell in love with it. Sure, everyone loves their first bass, but I doubt I'll ever get one that I like more, sure there's a little fret buzz, but it really hasn't interfered with my playing so overall it's a good bass.

Man oh man, this was my first bass I recieved when I was in high school (9th grade). When I pulled this baby out of the box I was surprised how light it was. and despite the price it had suprisingly good sound. It served me well for two and a half years. I am now in college and play for my schools jazz band and since then I have upgraded to a american made 5 string peavey. However this bass did well and served it's purpose as a learing tool. I would definetely recommend this bass to beginners

Only tried it at a store but I played it for about 15 mins or so...its literally just average: sounds fine but nothing great to the ear, necks stable but isn't butter smooth or fast response, stayed in tune perfectly fine while I slapped tommy the cat on it, seems like an all around stable bass. If you get this, expect it to last you for about 2 years at most and thats only if it doesn't collapse [like I said, only tried it out] so it seems like a fair deal for the price.

This is the best bass ever. I own this bass and let me tell you don't let the price fool you. You have to play it is awesome. It has so much power that you can hear it when i play outside for about a mile away.

this is a real good guitar to learn on. i have since upgraded to a Dean V metalman, but i've had this guitar since i started in sixth grade. it's almost 4 years old now, and the only thing that i needed soldered was the input, and other than that, it's still a good guitar. i'd suggest this Rogue SX100B for anyone as their first bass.
