I have used mine at a small music festival, connected to 4x10 and 1x15 cabs. Various bands played it, they were all pleased with the output and sound. There is plenty of headroom, plenty loud for those Rap guys, and they like it loud and heavy. I was missing some parts and the guys at the SWR were really responsive to my needs. There are less costly choices but if you are after true quality, this is the one to get.

Sounds good at low volume. over heats easy with a hot input. It can NOT provide the volume needed for the gigs I play. I have been stuck with it for over a year now and sometimes have to borrow another amp from a friend for gigs. Way over priced!

SWR 350 X really kicks

I just got the 350X and have only used it twice but I will say the tone is so good, I also got the Goliath IV cab to go along with it, this amp is the best amp I have used in the last 43 yrs except for the Ampeg SVT I had when they first came out. This amp sounds as good if not better than my SVT and is a lot easier to haul around. I started to buy the SWR 700 but im glad I got the 350X. If anyone is looking for a great bass amp this is all u will need. The amp will also work using 2, 4, or 8 ohm cabs, the amp will run a little hotter but it wont hurt the amp any. SWR is not a cheap amp but its worth what ya pay for it.

Excellent bass head, not so excellent price!

After trying about 10 different bass heads, I chose this one for its overall sound and quality. I play it with a P-bass and Hartke 1X15 and it can easily play over my entire band while maintaining a sweet tone. Very easy to operate and can handle all genres of music. I have brought this head everywhere from Baltimore to Boston, and I can tell you that this bass head is built like a tank! Overall, I would recommend this bass head to anyone who wants the best value for their money... just remember to buy a good rack, too.

I was looking for a GK head, but quickly changed my mind after trying this out. I played it for five or ten minutes and fell in love. For someone who had been using a fender rumble 60, this is a HUGE step up. I play it through a GK goldline 2x10 (only because I couldn't afford an SWR cab to go with it) and have been pleased. The aural enhancer allows for a huge amount of sounds. The only way it could be better is if it were a 550X or 750X.
