Best Bang for your Buck!

This is a great speaker for low bottom end. I've had mine for about five years now, I bought it used and it's an old one with the black 18" speaker cover (round) over the speaker. This is a very warm speaker and not at all muddy for an 18. I use to use mine with an Eden Metro combo w/2x10's and it was so fat. I've just purchased a Goliath III and I'm using an Ashdown MAG300R now and cant wait to hear how this combination sounds together. Buy this cab if you are looking for reliable low end. The only problem I had was after the fourth year the speaker connection on the inside of the cab vibrated loose. It just took a couple of minutes to reconnect that back myself.

This cabinet with the 2-10,900 head,and BBE is without a doubt the finest rig I,ve ever run!SWR low end (from the head)can only be truly represented with this cab.Very fast,no "flutter",and the warmth!5 string players dream!

This speaker is the foundation of my stack since '03. There is no way to fake the low end out of a lesser speaker. It makes the ground shake and stomachs grumble when I crank the low end and hit the low B. And it adds warmth and bottom end to all higher notes as well. I love the sound and still get comments on it at most shows. Thanks SWR.

I am running the SWR 700watt Head into one 4x10 and one Big Ben 18" cabinet. This totally ROCKS! The tone is AWESOME! I have an OCEAN TB-75 5 string bass and this combo is the BOMB!!!!! Hats off to SWR for making an excellent product.

Have owned the BIG BEN for a couple of months now.This cab. is great with a goliath jr. 2x10 as one would probably expect, but I am very impressed by the way it sounds by it self too! Very fast and punchy but with roundness!This cab. even sounds good with slap style.Cab. is pretty easy to move too.BIG BEN is a nice BASS speaker cabinet.
