The SWR LA15 Bass Combo isn't worth the MDF that it's made out of. Aside from the extremely poor build quality the one I got stuck with burned up in the first five minutes of turning it on and trying to use it. It is out of warranty so I have no recourse but I thought others might like to know what these are about before they make the same mistake I did. If you buy one of these you are throwing away your money. Buy something else, you'll be happy that you did. I'll be using mine for target practice with my .44 magnum because that's all it's good for now!

I have always been a fan of SWR but this amp did not impress me like i thought it would. If you play with the volume low it plays great good low and highs, but if you crank it up to play with the guitar and drums it start getting fuzzy, or atleast it did on me. Its not terrible but me being as picky as I am about my sound it was not for me. I am going to buy an ampeg stack which is what i was going to do in the first place but I didnt want to spend the money.

ive been playin with it for about a year now and it really packs a punch. it is loud and has a warm tone to it, and the handles on the side make it easy to carry around. when i play with this in my house or in a basement it gets over the guitar and drums easily. i would defiantly recommend this amp.

I had this amp for about 2 and a half years and I been satisfyed since. I have high standards for my equipment and this amp fits it but when moving to the more professional level of preforming it does not really fit the part. It is great for smaller gigs and practice. Would not recommend for recording or larger gigs.

I own them. I have 3 of these combo's. I run to each amp from a Morley A-B-C box. If anyone do this, you will not believe your ears. It is the perfect SWR way to go for bassist who don.t want all of the weight. You won't be sorry.
