I have had the WorkingPro 12 for about a month. I have already played it in several different venues including a large (1200+) worship setting going direct out and using it as a stage monitor. I can't believe the versatility and the amazing clean sharp tone! I have played 4 different guitars through it including a G&L L-2500, Music Man Sterling, Fender Jazz Fretless (haven't completely dialed in that tone yet), and a Peavey Millenium, all with outstanding results. When I can't take my "big rig" SWR-900 with a 4x10 and 1x15 I'm confident this little but powerful guy can "git 'er done". I wish the ratings went to 11 if you know what I mean!

This amp just ROCKS for Worship! Just enough volume and good tone! Handles B string notes with clarity and no distortion. The monitor in function is great if you are playing with a drummer on a electronic kit. Just put some of the kit thru the monitor connections and you have drums and bass IN YOUR FACE!

I play in a four piece jazz combo and also a church orchestra and worship team setting. I have been looking for a portable combo to use with this jazz group. The Workingpro 12 was on my short list and couldn't wait to try one out and when I did, I bought it that day. The members of my band went nuts when they heard it for the first time. The tone is tight and focused down to a low B string. Plenty of features like a great sounding DI, headphone and cd/mp3 inputs etc. This amp sounds best with the eq set flat. It really allows the true tone of your bass to come through with very little coloration. I highly recommend this amp!!

Been a SWR user for over 25 years. I've had many different set-ups to include combo and separate units rigs. I bought the Working Pro 12 for portability and easy set up. I consider myself a rough 6-string bass player because I get too much into the music and play the strings rather hard. I am simply AMAZED! with how easy this little but powerful amp handles the abuse. I play in latin-jazz trios and 7 to 8 piece latin-jazz bands. This amp handles both quite impressively. SWR never fails! If you want a portable, powerful, and reliable amp don't wait or look any more, this is it!

The SWR Working Pro 12 200 Watt Combo Amp is the way to go. I play bass for a classic rock band, so naturally I never considered anything but an Ampeg. But, after playing a G&L Tribute through the SWR, I'm going to sell my Ampeg to buy this amp.

The 200 watts is a perfect size, it puts out a lot of sound and low end without the tones getting muddy. I would recommend this amp to any serious bass player.
