The true workhorse of the WorkingPro bass amp series, the WorkingPro 15 combines an elegant appearance with outstanding tone and performance. 200 watts of power are pumped through a 15" woofer and piezo tweeter for rich, full-range sound. The Bass Intensifier provides an instant low-end boost. The 3-band active EQ and Aural Enhancer make shaping your tone simple. A Wedge EQ feature compensates for lost tone when using the amp's tilt-back legs. A side-mounted monitor input lets it double as a powered monitor.

Beat on this things for Over a Decade!!

I was given this rig when I first started playing bass (12 years ago) I attached the SWR 2x10 cabinet and this thing would literally shake a whole bar. More than enough sound for those neigborhood gigs. I've beaten on this thing everytime I've played. This thing was built like a tank. Literally because moving it can be a bit of a challenge. Regardless I love the SWR tone. All of the EQs are sper easy to use. Since It has been 12 years the circuit board fried. (Which seems to be the only problem with SWR combo amp, from what I'm told) Hey after beating on this thing for over a decade I can't complain. In my opinon the SWR 1x15 combo is far better than the Ampeg 1x15 combo. I've played though that, and the Ampeg combo gives you a very thin shallow sound. Nothin like SWR can give you Buy this I promise that you won't go wrong!

This amp is great. I bought it used in the spring of 08. I have had no problems with it what so ever. I use the Peavey Millinnium AC Bxp 5-String Bass with it, and a Hartke Bass Driver pedal, and the tone blends perfectly. To the person who blew it at their university practice, if you turn the gain down to about a 3.5, and the bass to about a 6, you can get your tone with the master volume, and the awsome bass engage feature. E-Mail wthi any questions.

I was really pleased with this amp straight out of the box. The features are excellent, the sound quality is top of the line... the only drawback for me would be it's boxy shape... makes it difficult to get into my car to go to a show... otherwise, this is a great amp!

Got the amp brand new last spring. It's only been a year since I've had it, and all of the sudden my bass cuts out in my university's fusion band practice. Not cool! Gain and Master were only up halfway. The product has a good sound and great features, but considering the fact that it costs this much, you should be able to crank it! I would recommend one of the ampeg combos instead.

Don't Push It

I purchased this amp used a little over a year ago now, and I definitely love the amp. It's got great SWR sound at a fairly affordable price, although there are some other amps in this size range for a good deal less (I'm loyal to SWR though, so the decision was fairly easy for me.) My only complaint with this amp, and with all SWR amps that aren't their professional line for that matter, is that they have a tendency to blow portions of their electronics fairly easily. Mine blew last week, and I'm now facing a $100+ repair shop bill to get it fixed (Warranty is unfortunately nontransferable.) My friend has a WorkingPro head that had the same problem as well not too long ago. As long as you don't push it too far though, like I did, the amp is outstanding and will really give you the killer SWR tone for a price that won't totally break the bank (For larger gigs it's best to use the DI output to run it through a PA for the additional volume you'll need.)
