Great Bass

I own a Warwick fretless corvette, and I wanted a second bass for gigs. I actually want to the store to purchase an Ibanez (which was a let down), then I saw this one. From the moment I picked up this bass I knew I was going to buy it. The pickups are great, I love the bride, and I just really like the way it feels in my hands. This is one really great bass, its light weight packs a punch and begs for more. Although it wouldn't be fair to compare this bass to my Warwick, its versatility and price makes this the one bass that you must try out before you make your next purchase.

I have owned this bass for about 6 years now. It plays and sounds just as good as it looks. I have played so may gigs with it I lost count. Funk, Rock, Metal, Jazz... It is very sturdy and feels like it could really take a beating. I usually take this bass when I ride my motorcycle to practice. The stock set up was great. The neck plays like butter and just keeps getting better with age. I like that it was stock with Elixer strings.

Got this for christmas, and started playing.
And instintly i was amazed.
The look is great the sound is great enverything is just great. The bass boost is so powerful and the treble booster is nice and smooth.
The style sweeper does such a nice job, when i move the knob towards the finger side is so smooth. Smooth is the only word i can use to describe the sound. When i move the knob towards the slap style, once again its so smooth sounding. And the slap sound is so nice and clean, and its glass sounding if that makes sence.
The neck is fast and beautiful not to mention the inlays on the finger board. And the gold hardware is so nice.
The only thing i wish this bass had, is a mid-bass booster. But no big deal, just use the amp.
Overall the bass is nice for the price and you wont be disappointed with your purchase at all.

I've had this bass for a little over a month now and it has been nothing but awesome! The quality is great, its flawless. It is also at a great price. So if you have the money to spare GET IT. I use mine in live performances regularly and I have yet to have any problem. The EMG pick-ups are active which just makes it even better, and I have yet to have to change the battery. So if you have the money get it!!!

Amazing Bass for a Budget

I first got this bass about a month ago, when I was looking for a step up from my Squier starter pack. My friend suggested Schecter to me, I found this bass and instantly fell in love with it. The action is not too high not too low, just perfect. The tuners stay nice and smooth. The bridge could be better, but it's not something I'm too concedrned about. The EMG pickups give a great tone, and pack a lot of punch. I run the bass through a Fender Rumble 15 that came with my Squier starter pack, but this Schecter still sounds amazing through it. The electronics are very nice, I can get any tone out of it, it has a 2 band EQ, with a master volume control, and a pickup balancer. If the neck pickup is turned all the way up, it gives off a very nice slap tone. The only problem I've ever had with it was when I was trying to tune the G-String, it snapped, though I take full blame for that, I wasn't paying attention to how tight the string was, So I just replaced the strings with some Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, and now I'm almost happy that the original string broke. This bass is a great bass for anyone looking for their second bass. It is one of the best basses on the market for it's price range.
