Schecter's Damien Series bass guitar not only shares a name with the evil child from "The Omen", it comes with a sinister satin black finish, black hardware, and black pearl bat inlays too. Its arched basswood body features a lower cutaway, rosewood fingerboard, and 24 jumbo frets. At a glance you can see that the Damien has "hard rock" written all over it. And rock Damien does, thanks to two EMG- HZ series humbuckers and 4 control knobs for volume, blend, and active 2-band EQ with selectable treble frequencies.

Pick up a Schecter Damien bass and prepare to whip the metal militia into a frenzy.

Why Get this Bass?

Well Ill start off by saying I'm not dissing any company or model of basses...but this bass absolutely rules. Ive spent months searching and researching for the best basses on the market. I work on the road in Canada and constantly go to music stores looking for the best in quality, looks, cost and playability.Price was never a factor for I can afford any bass I want. By saying this ive tried different basses with different amps even retrying them in different stores and the one that always sticks out is the Daimen Diamond series. A specially designed (almost distorted)powerful low E string is what I think is what does it. The bass is affordable and to look the other way with this bass is like turning down the girl of your dreams...(it dont cost much and in my opinion if you pick something else up your just paying for a "name" or "status" and not anything else) Its all about the feel, the looks and most importantly the sound!

Great Bass!

Had mine for bout 2 months now. This was my first upgrade type of bass. I gotta say, this baby blew me away. The neck is thinner than what I was accustomed to, but not putting it down for a week cleared that right up. Looks wise, I love this thing. The Satin Black is a great finish, and the bat inlays add some attitude. As far as build, its a very well built bass. Action on the fretboard is smooth and effortless, you'll hit where you want. The EMG's pack some punch and have pretty good range. This is my first with active pickups, and they don't disappoint. I'm pretty set in what I play and the Damien, as advertised, is great for heavier music. The Damien is a great all around bass and not only because of its price tag. This is my first Schecter, and damn sure it won't be my last.

I used to play a mockingbird platinum and used an Ibanez phat hed distortion pedal to get the sound I wanted, after purchasing this bass I might as well get rid of my pedal because I no longer need it. This bass is awesome for everything I do, Metal, Rap, and Funk. I tried it at total random at guitar center and went, holy crap I need this bass and bought it a week later from Capitol Guitars. There is a new model of it on the Schecter website but it has a pick guard and one metal man type pick up, it looks stupid. Get this one.

So I bought a dumb BC Rich and took it back after 3 days and shelled out and extra hundred for this bitch. I had always heard good things about schecter so I figured it should be good. Turns it it's not good its down right Awesome! Except I got mine for a hundred dollars cheaper at guitar center. No worries musicians friend always has better deals on amps. But so far I've been playing on my Acoustic B200 200w Amp finding the right tone out of its 6 Band EQ is pretty fun. Plus this I just find this guitar very attractive. So all I can really say about this thing is .... Get Some!
