The best instrument I have ever owned

I have had my Schecter for just under 3 years and I love it. If you have the money don’t hesitate to buy one. It is truly a joy to play, the only genuine problem that I have ever had with it was a bad output jack. It happened 2 years after I got the instrument, but it was no big deal to have fixed. If I ever had to replace this instrument I wouldn’t even think twice about it.

Decent for the money

Have played this bass for 2 years with mixed results. The bass seems to have trouble keeping tune. The intonation was off and had to adjust rod twice. Gold plating on knobs tend to tarnish rapidly. On the positive, for not having mid range control you can get a decent range of tones, although, bottom end can be mushy at times.

Got the Honeyburst 5string for xmas. Love it. Was heading to work with guitar in truck for rehersal after. I hit some black ice and had a head-on collision at 55MPH. The guitar, in the front seat, was FINE. I recommend the hardshell case. I was dazed but OK. Love everything about my Schecter! The case finally caved a year later.

I've had this bass for about 3 years now. First and foremost: this bass will not let you down. I've owned USA Fenders that weren't as well put together as this. Mine at least has flawless fittings and finish. Many useable tones on it, from deep and p-bass like to tight and punchy. No mid control though, this is the only downside to the bass. It is a bit heavy, but that coupled with a NECK THROUGH gives it some massive thump. I paid $800 a couple of years ago for it and it was worth every penny. At the reduced price, it is an absolute steal. If I had some extra cash I'd get another one on principle alone!

This bass is a work of art. The construction, the hardware, the electronics, and the black cherry finish. It is even better than I thought it would be. And all for the price of $499? Amazing. This is a bass I can imagine playing for the rest of my life. I think that anyone who is looking for a good bass should keep this one in mind.
