This bass is is perfect for any music. It has wall shaking B string. The lows and the highs are perfect. You will not want to play anything else after this.

This is a pretty nice bass. The Walnut and Maple neck is excellent for tone. I like the neck through and the passive EMG's but man no matter what I dialed, the pickups are WAY too sensitive for slap. They had an amazing finger tone. But even through an Ampeg Classic tube head and 8X10 stack, a GK 1001RB and 4X10/1X15 RBX stack, a Markbass 4X10 half stack and a Fender 1X12 Rumble combo, I couldn't get any type of slap tone at all. I tried running it flat Victor Wooten style, I pulled a Stu Hamm and slightly boosted high mids and bass, I tried the traditional High Treble/Bass and Cut Mids, this bass was not a slapper. As for playability, it resembled it's sound. Fun for light articulate finger but not too great for fast moving heavy hitting slap. But I think I will put some EMG passives in my old Ibanez GSR200 just for the finger tone. The finger sound was amazing.

Remarkable Instrument

This is by far the nicest bass I've ever played. The EMG HZ pickups are extremely hot and the tuners will keep it in tune for a very long time, even in lower tunings. Unlike some other 5-string basses, the spacing between the strings is definetely far enough for slap. It is a little on the heavy side, but it's nothing compared to some basses I've played. I'm constantly complimented on the looks and tone. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied.
