This pedal is mean. It's just nasty. I used it quite a bit for a few months, and LOVED it. The fuzz and wah do mix, as long as you keep the fuzz down. They also sound awesome seperately. Unfortunately, it is not designed/built well at all. Within weeks the pedal became loose, a few months and the whole thing just fell apart.

I got this baby for Christmas and it sounded great. The wah and fuzz both sounded great by themselves, but did not mix well, but I still loved this pedal. But over the six months I have owned this pedal, it has kind of fallen apart. The wah first required me to use rubber bands so it would stay up, and then the actual wah part broke, so now I can only use the fuzz. I have also broken the screw where the battery goes so there is no way to close the battery. I mean it sounds great, but in the end it fell apart way too soon to have been worth the money.

Bootzilla rules. The complaints about the incompatibility of the fuzz and wah-functions are partially true, but only because of the power of the fuzz. If you turn the fuzz up past about 40 percent, the wah sounds pretty muddy and/or inaudible. This is due, however, to the fact that the fuzz circuit is HOT. with the fuzz turned down to 0, it sounds pretty fuzzy, and 100 percent sounds like you're destroying expensive circuitry. Its mean. With fuzz at 0 to about 20 percent, the wah sounds pretty good, but above that, it gets less compatible. I don't see this as a bad thing, as I have the option to be heavily distorted beyond all reason, or just 'fuzzy' and wah-enabled. It sounds great clean as well. My only real complaint is that the pedal falls to the 'open' or high end of the wah sweep when not in use. If it were more stable(and/or had tone controls for the fuzz), I would have rated it 5 stars across the board.

This is one hell of a pedal. Its features--the pruple paint, the LED lights, the signature foot-shaped pedal--are unbelievably cool. The sound you can get from it is incredible. This pedal will provide a full wah anywhere from the 20th fret of your G-string to your low B string. The only problem with this pedal is that it's pretty easy to max out...I've had to have it tweaked once of twice because I put too much sound into it rather than letting it go thorugh the pedal. Regardless, other than a few slight tech difficulties, this pedal is a bass juggernaut, and is a great addition to any bass player's repertoire.

This is my first pedal and I love it. The wah is amazing. It sounds better then Vox's wah pedal for guitar. My only complaint is about the fuzz. Lower notes are fuzzier then higher notes are. This isn't that big of a deal because it still sounds great.

This may be the sturdiest pedal ever built. It is a tank. The pedal doesn't squeak or anything and I can put all my weight on it and its fine.

Overall this is an outstanding pedal. I highly recommend it.
