Very Good Jazz Bass for the Price

I have this bass more than a year and I'm still impressed with the sound I can get on this Bass. Very good action, Keeps in tune with no problems and has the original Fender jazz bass tone. Although, you pay what you get ofcourse! The bridge is good but i can hear the springs vibrating. The fretboard is good too but it has a fret buzz at higher notes (not a big deal, all fenders has but not like this one) and the B string sounds muffled even with new strings. Actually, all Fender Basses doesn't have a Great B string sound in my opinion. Overall, This is a Very good bass for the price but if you can afford a Fender standart Jazz bass or a real american jazz bass that would be good. If you get this one, you gotta fix some stuffs but not a big deal. This is a Squier, not a FENDER.

i got it for christmas and it looked great. the paint was shiny and i liked it... until i plugged it in. the notes arnt clear, if you play an e string or low b string about 2-3 different buzzing noises happen. i can whine because i got it for christmas but i wanted an upgrade from my washburn xb 100 bantam series 4 string but its about 3 steps lower. my washburn sounds like a ric compared to the fender. dont buy it

I have been playing a 1988 RI '62 P-what a dream guitar. But the guys in the band wanted more growl from a low B string-and I am married...nuff said. I got the JB V Affinity for $219-I also have a Squier '72 J and a vintage modified fretless J- the rap Squier gets is unfair. The feel and sound beats anything Ibanez can muster at half the price. You can't go wrong with this one.

I bought this bass about a year ago and love playing it. It has a great sound although the pickups are a little to sensitive for my taste. The only drawback is the neck is bigger than many other 5 strings but you will get use to it. overall this is a great bass and worth buying

If you are a beginner like I was, and are not sure what to buy this is a great place to star. It has all the features you could need or want. This guitar is pretty heavy but it also seems very durable. The sound it produces is high quality and I think I will continue to use it for some time to come. I reccommend this product highly, besides it has that classic fender look.
