i got this bass about to years ago,and it wasnt terrible, but i bought it for something to mess around with modifying, and i think its made for that. if you buy this, shell out the extra 60 bucks and get a basslines 51 p-bass pick-up for it, i did and it actually sounds like a bass now! its really good for small gigs or time when you dont care to much about your sound being perfect or dont want your good bass getting damaged. i own many basses, most of which are priced over 1000 dollars, but this one is my favorite neck, its just perfect, not too wide, not too narrow, fills your hand nicely without making you stretch. get one!

This was the first bass i ever owned and it is what helped me learn how to play in the first place. i think that if u start learning with this bass instead of a full size especially if you played guitar first or are natually left handed(like me) it will help! however i do not reccomend this to people with long arms or if you want to jump right into learning with full size basses. if you chose to do the latter just get a precision bass.

Bronco Bass

This bass is a great bass if you're just learning to play, but if you're much more than a beginner, I strongly advise you not to buy it, and, if you already have it, upgrade to something nicer, like a Fender Precision. Now, for a critique of the bass itself: On the good side, the tone knob on the bass really does change the tone of the bass a lot, and you can easily go from a very, well, bass-like sound to a more trebly guitar-like sound. I myself prefer the bassier sound for recording, but I can go either way for live performances. On the bad side, many of the frets buzz a LOT, and the E string even buzzes when it's played open. Also, the sound you get from it when you plug it in is a little muddy, and not as clear as I would like. Overall, I think this a good bass for starting players, but no one else.

Awesome Short Scale Bass

I learned the bass on this guitar at an older age. I am also barely 5 ft tall so the skinny neck and short scale make this bass a breeze to learn to play. I have owned it for two years now and haven't wanted anything else. It sounds great and 'fits' in my hands. God bless all of you.

Great Bass

I bought this bass a few months ago and I highly enjoy playing it. I have only been playing a few months and I'm here to say, if I, a forty year old, can learn to play it; anyone can play it. My 9 year old son also enjoys playing it. I highly recomment this bass to anyone who is starting to learn, no matter what your age. God bless.
