I got this bass for my birthday and although it wasnt exactly brand new it played fine and was in great condition. my only complaint is that the pickups sound horrible if the second knob isnt turned up all the way. it also doesnt get all that loud compared to my precision and bronco basses. other than that, the neck has great action and its really easy to reach the high frets and sounds pretty ok once that second knob is all the way up.

Iv been playing for about a 2 years and i started with this bass. its really good for beginers the only thing is you should change out the strings and its not very loud which is good for playing at home but i use a different bass when playing gigs.

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter's birthday gift. Not only is it beautiful but easy for her to play, lighter than the one she had been playing. Also tough standing up to dragging it to school everyday for the past year.

This could cost twice as much and still be a good deal, at this price its simply unbeatable. I cant think of anything near this price range that sounds so good. Useful for a lot of different sounds but to play slap you might want to change the strings. I don't know why this isn't a better known bass. If a normal guitar sounded this good for 200 dollars you wouldn't hear the end of it.
