The Traynor DynaBass 800H is set apart from other bass amp heads by its versatile hybrid tube and solid state preamp. The all-tube input signal path gives you as much grunge or as little tube warmth as you want. Meanwhile, the FET-driven solid state input circuit ensures highly responsive and clean tone. Built for the most demanding stages, the DynaBass 800H is one of the highest-powered bass amps Traynor's ever offered. The highly efficient solid state amplifier section reliably delivers 800W to a 4-ohm load for maximum compatibility with a typical live rig.

A dual fan cooling system integrated into the DynaBass 800H completely negates the need for heavier heatsinks. Well placed intake/exhaust vents allow the two cooling fans to immediately draw all extraneous heat away from the amplifier to make sure the amplifier won't overheat even under the most extreme live conditions.

Innovative tone-shaping controls like Scoop and Bass Resonance are standard on the DynaBass 800H as well as a compressor with user-definable threshold and a customizable output limiter. The variable contour Scoop function sweeps from a flat frequency response through a mid-frequency dip at 400Hz. As you increase beyond the halfway point on the control, you begin to boost both the top and bottom end to your tone, in addition to further reducing the midrange level. The Bass Resonance control actually controls the damping factor of the amplifier's output stage, and lets you take full advantage of the tone of a loudspeaker enclosure. When used with a high quality and responsive loudspeaker like the Traynor TC810, Bass Resonance allows you to dial in the exact response from your rig that you want to hear - anything from a tight and punchy modern tone to a looser, more vintage bass sound. The five-band EQ with semi-parametric mid also aids in finding the tones you need.

Other professional features added to the DynaBass 800H include highly visible VU metering of the output signal, a front panel wet/dry control for the footswitchable tube drive, footswitchable effects return with front panel wet/dry blend control, and a pre/post selectable XLR balanced DI output with ground lift. High power handling Speakon extension speaker cabinet outputs have been added in addition to the 1/4" phono jacks commonly used on instrument amplifiers.

WOW< I owned 3 so far. Well let me explain, I have owned all the major brands, AMPEG, EDEN ,MESA MARKBASS> .All were great, but the value and features on this just RAWKS !!!!!

Having said that. Yes this is my third and why?, well like a fool i traded , bought and sold other brands .I was always too worried to see a name brand on the stage than what i really needed.

Not that the others are not worthy, they are, but for the price and features, you can't go wrong.

You get it all in here, the girth of an SVT, the clarity of an Eden . I am surprised to why bass amgs and top players don't try this sucker out ?
