Many of you will agree that a practice amp is, well a practice amp. We can have the amp heads and cabinets for better quality, but then the small amps are for portability. That is my case too, having moved from my house to a relatives house, and not being able to take my 120 pound Peavey gear. That being said, I needed something to meet my playing needs (couple hours of practice per week), with good sound quality, and solid features. This amp is really great so far, I practiced about 2 hours earlier with it, and my Geddy Lee Jazz bass sounded great. The low range is especially outstanding for being a 15 watt amp! The mid range is pretty bland, and the higher range is ok, but overall, the low end makes this better for us bassist because most of our playing is on the low end. The low end is usually the part that we cannot hear when playing to recorded music, but I've found this to be great with the low end. Overall, I would say save up for something bigger, or if you need a practice amp, this will do wonders. For a little more money though, a 60 watt combo can be had, so that is something to pay attention to.
