I play a range of styles, my band plays in open A, I fill in as bass player at a couple churches, and I play in the pit for musicals every now and again. This bass does everything i need from a growling low A in open A that still hits as hard as the low B in standard, and crisp warm highs. works great in standard at churches and musicals with warm crisp highs and lows lol. I play a dean Q5 bass in shows sometimes if a break a string, or the battery in my wireless dies. The only problems ive had were i had to get the bridge filed one time to prevent spurs, and the screws backed out, but i went to the hardwere store and bought a longer bigger set of screws and put them in with wood glue no problems since. I was recently offered a partial endorsement to play spector basses and i turned it down because i didnt want to not be able to play the warwick on stage i love it that much.

The neck is made of bubinga wood which is awesome it's the heaviest part of the whole bass. It can reach some pretty deep tones and has an amazing range. This bass is so playable because the neck is the perfect size you can play very fast on it.

Loved the tone out of the box. Had issues with the pickups being in such close proximity to the high voltage from our light show. Needed to replace the pickups with some Bartolini's. definate improvement. While replacing the pickups, I put in a new preamp to increase my tonal diversity. Great bass to begin with...better now modified. Much more fun. Buy the bass, enjoy it, but make needed changes. Cheers.

Recently changed bands and styles, and found that my current bass was not so cohesive with this style of playing. I needed more low end, and crisper highs. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, and would need a very convincing bass retail lobbyist to convince me to buy anything but Warwicks for the rest of my bass playing career. Enjoy, cheers

This bass was a gift from my wife because she knew I wanted it badly, and I did. It started out as heaven, the best bass I have ever played, BUT , shortly after I have gotten this beauty everything changed. I have had nothing but problems from the cheaply made nut to every screw backing out of the wood. It almost has me to never buy this brand again.
