Basicly this is my first Warwick, an upgrade from an economic washburn bass, since kid i loved warwick sound and this bass didn't dissapoint me at all! this is the same Corvette std but with MEC active pickups and 2 way electronics, so its sound it's the tipical warwick growl and let's you articulate all kind of shapes whatever is your style, for its price is the best bass you can ever get and of course you have to be a warwick lover!!!

I bought my Warwick Corvette Standard at a pawn shop. This says it should have been sold for around $1,400. Because of this, I'm not so sure this bass is worth 1,400, but it is amazing none the less. The shear appearence can make you want to buy this, but some of my favorite things are the pickups make this bass so worth it, I can even play with it not plugged in and still hear it. The only critisism I have is that the E string is a bit floppy, which makes playing metal hard. Still, it is great for jazz, funk, slap and pertty much everything else.

This Warwick Corvette STD is THE most unbelievable piece of art this planet owns. I own the swamp ash body, which I seriously recommend, the swamp ash body matures with age. It becomes more beautiful as the months go on. The value is great. It's amazingly expensive but for its quality amazingly cheap. I purchased it here in the UK, and haven't looked back on it since. The only thing that annoys me is that the strap lock has broken twice within two years. I doubt this is a regular thing and highly recommend to buy it!
