i bought this bass a few months ago used. it is hands down the best bass i have ever owned. granted, i havent owned any expensive basses. but still. i prefer this bass over a Fender American Jazz Bass any day. this bass will play whatever style of music you want it to. the minimal amount of knobs make dialing in on your tone simple and easy. this bass may not look like much, but it's worth the money and definitely one of the best basses you could ever own

Best bass I've played

I've been playing a Washburn 6-string bass for 16 years, and people always said it sounded good. I'm on a new band now and wanted a 4-string and started shopping. I tried a Fender Geddy Lee, a Music Man and several Ibanez. I almost bought an Ibanez BTB because of the price, but once I tried this bass I was in love. I decided to pay more for a better instrument that I would be happier with in the long run. I would have regretted all my life if I'd bought another one. It's just awesome. And for those that say heavy or neck too big, try a six string and then start complaining. I feel so agile in this bass. Also when connected into the same amp and settings than my old bass it just fills the room so much more. It's not louder, its a fuller sound. Also love that you can switch off the electronics by pulling the vol. knob. The only problem I found: Now I want a 6-string Warwick!

Once you play this bass you will not to touch anything else, because its subpar. I love musicman, however this bass is far more versatile, though I would still buy a musicman for funk purposes. My warwick has bartolini pickups which makes it sound far better than the standard. The feel and sound is awesome, it plays itself, no buzzes, hisses, deadspots, etc. It is heavy, so it takes getting used to. For the price, why get a fender trash, that you have to greatly modify to get a decent versatile tone out of. Once you go Warwick, you'll never go back to fender.

I bought this bass used and the tone and feel blows everything else I've played out of the water. Better than any Fender. The only thing I didn't like at first was the neck, but now that I'm used to it it feels awsome. Looks awsome, plays great, pretty much the best. The only bass I think is better is a Streamer stage II but thats more that 3 times as much $. It is great for slap if you change the strings and sounds great for almost any style.

I have recently purchased two corvettes, one a standard and one proline. Best bass guitars on the face of the earth!!! Gave up both my Spectors for the Warwick. Best decision I ever made. Quality and a awesome sound. I did change out the standards passive mec to active emgs but through my preference for active pickups. Would recommend for the serious bass player.
