Best Bass Ever

I have been playing bass for around 40 years and have had a couple of really nice basses in my day. I decided to buy one last really nice bass and make it my last purchase (my wife said she had heard that before). I went out looking and never even considered this bass because of the price. Well, I sat down and played one and guess what. It went home with me. The action is fast, it stays in tune, intonation is perfect. The sound is a very punchy growl. Several people on our prasie team at church have said that they have never heard a bass sound that awesome. The electronics work great, and with passive pickups I don't have to worry about dropping out if the battery dies. The wood is just, well, just beautiful. I think I have found a little piece of Heaven here. This is the last bass I will ever buy cause there is nothing out that I have heard that comes close. Buy it, you will be glad you did.

In the Washington DC area, Chuck Levin's place is hopping with the musicians in the area. I had the opportunity to play the Streamer and Corvette Jazzman basses here a couple years ago, and these things are hot!!! I prefer the Streamer because of the curved body. These things are tonally amazing! The body is swamp ash, so they aren't as heavy as you would expect a Warwick to be. You also get the great tone that swamp ash gives, with deep, smooth lows and burpy, poppy mids. Great MM tone with the bridge pickup, super traditional J- tone with the neck pickup, and trad meets modern when blended. The bass has a great EQ, the fat Warwick neck, and a great feel. My only complaint is that these things are so expensive! Don't get me wrong -- it's totally worth it, but not everyone has $**** to lay down for one of these bad boys!

This is one of the best basses out there at any price!! Workmanship is unbelievable and the electronics are so versatile, I really cant believe it. I own 16 basses from various different companies and this bass is probably the best one!!!
