Good, but not enough low end

I've had this amp for almost 2 years now. There is no doubt about it. It sounds great for the price. However, it does not provide the bass and thump I need for my style of playing. The speakers rattle and crack when I turn it up that loud.

This amp is great for band practice, etc. But if you use a lot of heavy low-end at any venue bigger than your living room, this may not be right for you.

I've owned the XM200 Bass Combo for about one year, playing mostly on weekends. In that time, the amp has performed above my expectations. The tonal variety is endless, but works best for me flat with mid scoop. It can handle anything on stage you ask of it, and works well with the PA if necessary for some balance. The guys in the band are seasoned, and all comment favorably on this amp. Overall, no regrets, or problems. Summary good: light weight, powerful, versatile, and trustworthy for gigs. Summary bad: will hurt you if you let it.

This thing is great. I just picked it up a while ago and I am in love with it. The amount of tinkering you can do with the tone is unbelievable. So far the loudest I have taken this amp is 5, I stopped there because I was afraid for the structural integrity of my house. This is one amp you will not regret buying.

I've had mine a year now, long enough to be able to know how this amp performs in many situations. I've been fully satisfied with this amp. It may have fewer options than some of the competition, but the options it offers are the ones that I thought I would need, and after a year of use, the are exactly what I need.

Silent tuning. Balanced line out to the PA, pre- or post-eq Limiter Inputs for active or passive bass Adequate control over tone via the bass, low mid, high mid, treble and scoop controls.

The only feature I don't use is the effects loop; that's because I don't use effects with bass.

There are amps with more power, it is true. This one has reasonable power which I augment through the FOH if/as required. I play in a loud band, I always run a line to the PA for just a touch of reinforcement.

Bottom line, if you want an amp that is easy to transport, sounds good, has enough basic power to cover small rooms but provides the flexibility to plug into the FOH if reinforcement is needed, this is a great choice. On the other hand, if you want an amp with enough power on its own to bruise spleens and cause spastic colon, then you'll need to look elsewhere.

I've had this amp for a year and some. It has held up through numerous gigs, small and large. It has great power and has held up to everything i've thrown at it, which has been alot.
